We embarked on a lovely journey through the countryside to get there, which set the tone for my 6 yo Peak Wildlife Park had plenty of spacious parking. The entrance fee seemed a little steep for the child's ticket, but in the end, it was well worth the purchase. The park was larger than expected and required the use of the free map. We got to spend time viewing and/or interacting with all the animals on the Map. My daughter was delighted to feed a wallaby (or two) The USP of allowing visitors to walk through some of the animal enclosures made our day. Specifically, the wallaby, lemur, goats, and giant rabbit enclosures. Seeing artic foxes and polar bears up close also brought excitement. There were multiple cafes on site offering hot drinks, cold drinks, pizzas (cooked fresh in a pizza oven) hot dogs, ice cream e.t.c Various toilet facilities around the park. There were also in and outdoor play areas for the younger kids. My daughter and i spent just over 5.5 hours and that worked out well for us. Would highly recommend this place.

Peak wildlife park is a unique alternative to other zoos or wildlife parks as although they have fewer animals your are allowed to walk through the enclosures of many of the animals they have. Our kids love it.

What a wonderful place. Visited today with my friend. Only 1 cafe open , but it was a quiet day. Cafe served hot / cold drinks , hot / cold sandwiches, soup and pizza. Staff were exceedingly pleasant and helpful. Grounds were tidy and clean. All animals appeared happy and well cared for. Lovely to get close to all animals especially the interaction with the wallabies. A throughly enjoyable day out for all ages. My one concern is the unruly school parties , partly due to the children and partly the supervising staff , children were running around wild , this is a concern to the animals and my friend, had she been older and frailer , would of been knocked over by one male child , who was not supervised. Note to all, wonderful well run park BUT avoid school parties if possible.

We went on a weekday and it was very quiet. They have a great variety of lovely animals, which all seemed to be very happy. We loved attending the talks, and the staff were very keen to interact with us and answer questions about the animals. The walk through enclosures were really nice as well to get up close and interact with some very cool animals! We also stopped into the cafe for a hot chocolate during a rain shower which was a nice warm break. Would highly recommend this as a day out, we were pleasantly surprised by how big it was!

It is a really good little place, not very big, but it has got some really good animals, and the enclosures are very good, knowledgeable, friendly staff, and it's cheaper than most zoos. Considering they have polar bears🐻‍❄️, Onsite toilets around the place with disability access, and child-changing rooms. A large cafe with a simple menu but enough choices to suit most. I recommend visiting.

We really enjoyed our visit and mini zookeeper experience today. My 6yr old got to feed, meet and learn about rabbits, sheep, deer, tortoise, goats and chickens. The two staff (Jamie and will) were brilliant and knowledgeable. The park itself was great- we haven’t been for a few years but it’s got lots more since- polar bears are amazing, and the new cafe and facilities. Will most definitely be back- thanks Peak!

Absolutely worth the annual pass, endless memories and the animals are all clearly loved and very happy. Some days one of the animals might not do much, but the next time you go, you can leave with them being your new favourites

Great park, not big but has a lot of animals. All animals look healthy and well. The main advantage is the playground. The main issue high price and no toilet paper in the toilets 😨🫣
